Aman Alam is an Advocate practising in the Supreme Court of India. A 7th generation lawyer, he served as Law Clerk-cum-Research Associate to an Hon’ble Judge of the Supreme Court from 2022 to 2023. Recently, he was appointed as Standing Counsel in Supreme Court, by Municipal Board, Budaun (Nagar Palika Parishad, Budaun), becoming the youngest Standing Counsel (aged 24) in the Court’s history. Prior to this, he was appointed as Amicus Curiae by the Supreme Court in a case, again, being one of the youngest Advocates to be appointed as such.
He is currently associated with a Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court, and also takes up his own, independent matters. Besides assisting his senior and appearing in civil, criminal, constitutional, service, commercial and arbitration matters before the Supreme Court, Aman is involved in several legal aid matters, wherein free legal representation is provided to financially weaker people. He has recently founded Win-at-Law, a pro-bono mentorship programme for the students of Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, providing guidance to more than 40 students throughout their undergraduate law school programme.
